Krasnoyarsk Gufsin is recognized as the best in Russia

GUFSIN in the Krasnoyarsk Territory was recognized as the best territorial body of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for educational, social and psychological work with convicts. The results of the contest of the institutions of the penal system were summed up the day before.

The jury assessed the level of educational impact on the convicts: conducting classes and events with them, the state of the material and technical base and infrastructure, including the presence of a club, library, rooms for circles, cable television, sports facilities and religious facilities in the institution. Particular attention in assessing activities was paid to disciplinary practice, training convicted and solving issues of their social adaptation after liberation.

“The GUFSIN of Russia in the Krasnoyarsk Territory was recognized as the best territorial body, which bypassed by the main indicators of the Russian Gufsin in the Kemerovo region – Kuzbass and the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Altai Territory. Among the correctional institutions, the Krasnoyarsk colony-settlement No. 19 took second place, losing the palm of the IK-43 GUFSIN of Russia in the Kemerovo region. The IK-14 GUFSIN of Russia in the Krasnodar Territory closed the three leaders, ”the sentence service said.
