Gică Hagi (61 years old) will officially be the new coach of the Romanian national football team. The enthronement is scheduled today, on the occasion of a press conference at Casa Fotbalului, which will also be attended by Răzvan Burleanu (41 years old), president of the institution, and Mihai Stoichiță (71 years old), president of the Technical Commission within the FRF.

The event will take place from 1:30 p.m., in the “Nicolae Dobrin” room. The appointment takes place on the day when Farul, the team in which Hagi kept 10% of the stake, has a play-out match with FCSB champion, being the debut of the new coach, Flavius Stoican (49 years old).

For Hagi, this is his second term in the locker room of the tricolors, after a short first experience in 2001, when he missed the cut-off at the World Cup. At that time, the president of FRF was his former colleague from Sportul Studențesc, Mircea Sandu (73 years old).

The press conference will be broadcast live on the YouTube channel FRF TV and on the Facebook page of the Romanian national football team.
