The children were of different ages – from 1 to 14 years old. Initial police findings indicate that the shooting was the result of a domestic dispute.

According to information from Shreveport Police spokesman Chris Bordelon a total of 10 people were shot, eight of them fatally. Some of them were related to the attacker.

After the attack, the perpetrator fled the scene by car, but was fatally shot by officers during a police chase.
Details of the event are still being finalized, and shots will be fired at three different locations in the city.
State police asked anyone with photos, videos or any information about the tragedy to contact investigators.
