Metaloglobus Bucharest and coach Mihai Teja have reached an agreement regarding the mutual termination of contractual relations, the club in last place in the SuperLigă announced on its Facebook page.

“We thank him for the activity carried out during his mandate and for the work done within the club. We wish him success in continuing his professional career“, the release also states. The separation between the two sides comes one stage before the end of the regular season. Metaloglobus was promoted to the Super League at the end of last season, after a draw with Poli Iasi, when it was led from the technical bench by Ianis Zicu.
Mihai Teja then took over the team and obtained only 11 points in 29 stages, including victories with FCSB and Farul and draws with Craiova University and CFR Cluj. The coach Florin Bratu clapped hands with Metaloglobus and will take over the team, after parting with CS Dinamo (second league).
“Bratone” has not coached in the first league since 2018, when he coached FC Dinamo. He has a complicated mission at Metaloglobus, which he takes on from last place, with only 11 points collected in 29 rounds. The last place in the play-off, occupied by Slobozia, is 13 points away, and the Ialomi team has one less game to play. Upon entering the play-out, the difference will be halved.
