The juniors from Steaua arrived at the hospital after eating at a restaurant in Arad

25 teenagers, aged between 13 and 16, members of a junior football team, as well as two adults, their coaches, arrived at the Emergency Department in Arad on Saturday, according to Agerpres.
The juniors from Steaua Bucharest were away in Arad, to play the Elite League matches with those from AFC UTA Arad, according to the local media.
The 27 people showed up at the Emergency Reception Unit with the team bus and complained of symptoms of food poisoning, according to medical sources.
The patients reported that on Friday evening they ate at a restaurant in Arad, and during the night they started to feel sick.
Doctors said all 27 received specific IV treatment and were out of danger, while the Directorate of Public Health launched an investigation.
Mixed teams were sent to control the restaurant where the footballers from Steaua ate. The authorities suspended the restaurant's activity after finding “serious problems in compliance with sanitary and food safety rules”.
The restaurant was fined two times, 22,000 lei and 25,000 lei, the Prefect of Arad, Mihai Pașca, said.
