On Sunday morning, Ukrainian forces carried out a missile attack on the Russian city of Taganrog on the Sea of ​​Azov, where unmanned aerial vehicles are produced for the Russian army, Reuters reported.

The attack was confirmed by the Ukrainian General Staff in a post on Facebook. The target of the attack was the Atlant Aero company, a manufacturer of attack unmanned aerial vehicles, including: Molnia type, massively used by the Russian army in the war with Ukraine. According to witness accounts published on Telegram, strong explosions were heard in the city and a fire broke out in the factory premises.

Currently, it is not known what type of weapons were used to attack the factory in Taganrog and how serious the damage is. The previous attack in the same place took place a month ago, and also in January – recalled the Ukrainian portal Militarnyj.

FPV drones manufactured by Atlant Aero under the name Mołnia are mass-produced unmanned aerial vehicles with a simple structure and small size. They can carry loads weighing 3-4 kg over a distance of up to 30 km. They are used to attack targets in close proximity to the front line. (PAP)
