Dinamo achieved the first victory of this play-off, score 2-1, thanks to the superb achievements signed by Cătălin Cîrjan and Alex Musi. Atanas Trică was the author of the success of the “students”.
Dinamo and Cluj University offered a match with rhythm, nerves and hot phases, the match having all the characteristics of a play-off dispute. Who stepped up, who disappointed, and who kept the team alive through the tough times? We analyze the performances of all the players and award the marks after the game in the biggest stadium of the country.
How the dynamists scored with the “students”:
-
Devis Epassy – grade 6 » Returned between the red and white teams, after two games in which Alex Roșca was started. He got a goal at the end, with no chance of intervention. At the end, he stuttered a cross, but he also made a decisive block at the last moment.
-
Maxime Sivis – grade 5 » The Frenchman hasn't been in his best for a few games either. Overpowered far too easily at a few stages.
-
Kennedy Boateng – grade 7 » Very sure, he completely annihilated the goal scorer Lukic, but he could no longer intervene to block Atanas Trică in the goal phase.
-
Nikita Stoinov – grade 7 » Sure, in the usual note.
-
Raul Opruț – grade 6 » Very active, many useful passes for teammates. Sensational tackle on Mendy's 60th minute tackle.
-
Eddy Gnahore – grade 6 » Good, he started most of the dynamic actions, he also ticked off the recovery chapter.
-
Alberto Soro – grade 6 » He is not in his waters in the midfielder position. 85% is the percentage of successful passes for the Iberian, he touched the ball 42 times, only once in the opposing box.
-
Cătălin Cîrjan – grade 7 » Good shot from the edge of the box in the 9th minute that narrowly missed the target. He passes to alibi and misses many of the passes that should be decisive. In the 73rd minute, he missed the execution from a good position, albeit at an angle. He washed away all his sins with the masterful success in the 75th minute, a true number 10.
-
Adrian Mazilu – grade 6 » Again preferred to the detriment of Alex Musi as a solution for the player to meet the U21 rule. No achievements, no spark or idea. 3/4 dribbles successful, 15/19 accurate passes successful.
-
Mamoudou Karamoko – grade 5 » He broke on the first attempt at the goal of Gertmonas, in the first half. Without the same room for maneuver as in Gruia, he had no achievements.
-
Alexandru Pop – grade 5 » Invisible, after he managed to score in Cluj. Touched the ball 17 times, 4 times in the opposing box. He had just one attempt at Gertmonas' goal, a header, early in the contest.
-
Zeljko Kopic, coach – grade 8 » Very inspired to change. Armstrong scored an assist, Musi scored.
Along the way they entered:
-
Danny Armstrong ('39) – grade 7 » Very aggressive, fighter attitude, he assisted Cîrjan on the goal in the 75th minute.
-
George Pușcaș ('57) – grade 5 » Invisible.
-
Alex Musi ('57) – grade 8 » Very active from entering the field. Constant danger for the opposing goal, which is why he was repeatedly fouled. He made it 2-0 in the 81st minute with a superb finish from the edge of the box.
-
Andrei Mărginean ('57) – grade 6 » Without achievements, he was easily dribbled by Bic in the box, three minutes after entering the field.
-
Cristi Mihai ('80) – He played too little to be rated.
How the Red Caps fared against the Dogs:
-
Edvinas Gertmonas – grade 4 » He scored on Dynamo's first threatening shot, and gifted a corner five minutes later. U Cluj conceded a goal after this phase – superb execution by Alex Musi.
-
Dino Mikanovic – grade 5 » More inaccuracies from the Croatian.
-
Iulian Cristea – grade 6 » No mistakes, no highlights.
-
Andrei Coubiș – grade 6 » The revelation of this spring in the Super League didn't make mistakes, but he didn't have too much work either.
-
Alex Chipciu – grade 6 » No problems.
-
Ovidiu Bic – grade 7 » Extraordinary availability to effort, a true “box to box”, both in defense and defensive at the same phase. For this reason, he is also one of the most appreciated players in the “student” camp. He also hit the crossbar in extra time with a blistering shot. Bergodi's best man.
-
Oucasse Mendy – note 6 » Perhaps the best offensive transfer in the last mercato period. No achievements on the National Arena.
-
Mouhamadou Drammeh – grade 6 » He didn't deliver any useful ball for the offensive men, he lost some duels with Gnahore.
-
Jug Stanojev – grade 6 » Another inspired move by the “students”. He came out on the receiving end many times, but was no longer decisive, as in the last stages. Only one successful dribble, 19 touches of the ball, ten accurate passes out of 12 attempted.
-
Omar El Sawy – grade 6 » It's like he's an “outcast” in the University gear, he's not at all sought after by his teammates. In the 41st minute, he had the most important chance of the “students” camp in the first half. Otherwise, deleted.
-
Jovo Lukic – grade 5 » The “Bomber from the Super League” lost a lot of balls, completely annihilated by Boateng.
-
Cristiano Bergodi, coach – grade 6 » The university, much too defensive until almost the end of the match. Can you feel the pressure of the title? Macalou and Trică collaborated on the Transylvanian goal, both coming off the bench. Inspired in this chapter by the former captain of Lazio.
Along the way they entered:
-
Dorin Codrea ('61) – grade 6 » In Drammeh's note, no achievements.
-
Issouf Macalou ('61) – grade 7 » Goal pass to Trică's success, which dynamited the end of the game.
-
Atanas Trică ('74) – grade 7 » An opportunity, a goal for the black and white U21 player.
-
Andrei Gheorghiță ('88) – He played too little to be noted.
How the “knights in black” officiated:
-
Rareș Vidican, central – grade 5 » He didn't see a construction foul on Armstrong, in the U Cluj team's goal. He left the game open and didn't whistle every simple touch.
-
Marius Badea, assistant 1 – grade 6 » Excellently observed a corner in the first half, in a tangled phase.
-
Adrian Vornicu, assistant 2 – grade 6 » No problems.
-
Sorin Costreie and Daniel Mitruți, VAR room – grade 6 » They had no work.
