According to information on the network's website, a new point will be opened in the Manufaktura shopping center in Łódź. However, no further details regarding the opening date of the premises have been provided yet. On Instagram, the chain announced that recruitment for restaurant employees is currently underway. The announcement states that students can count on earnings of PLN 6,000. zloty.
The chain originates from Berlin and developed exclusively on the German market for a long time. Poland is the first foreign market for the company – but for now only the restaurant in Szczecin operates.
Robert Fügert, CEO of Burgermeister, said last year in an interview with Business Insider Polska that the company has very big ambitions when it comes to the Polish market.
— I think we will have at least 20-40 restaurants in Poland in the coming years – he said in the interview. He also admitted that the network's plans do not end in Poland and it wants to debut, among others, in Great Britain, Spain, Austria and Croatia.
— Our production capacity would be sufficient to supply over 100 Burgermeister restaurants around the world. So we can still scale. And we do it, Robert Fügert also added.
