On Sunday, Chwalińska defeated Russian Diana Sznajder, seeded number 25, 7-6 (7-4), 6-4 and advanced to the final of the French Open Grand Slam tournament in Paris. The Polish tennis player will play for the title against another player from this country – Mirra Andreeva.

By winning in the semi-finals, the Polish tennis player has already achieved the greatest success in her career and a huge financial reward. So far, she has earned EUR 1.4 million (PLN 5.9-6 million) gross on the courts in Paris. This means that it will be credited to her account 770 thousand euroor more or less PLN 3.2–3.3 million.

Now Chwalińska faces the Roland Garros final. If he wins, he will receive EUR 2.8 million gross, i.e. PLN 11.8-11.9 million.

Chwalińska road to the top
In the first round in Paris, the Pole won against the Chinese Olympic champion Qinwen Zheng 6:4, 6:0, and then in the same ratio against the 23rd seeded Belgian Elise Mertens. In the 3rd round, she defeated the Greek Maria Sakkari 1:6, 6:3, 6:2, and then the French Diane Parry 6:3, 6:2 and the Russian Anna Kalinskaya (22nd) 7:6 (7-3), 6:3.
Chwalińska, who is 114th in the ranking and had to get through the qualifications, is already sure that after the French Open she will be in the top 100 of the WTA list for the first time. Virtually, it now ranks 30th.
