For selling unmarked outerwear in Krasnoyarsk, the seller was brought to administrative responsibility.
The violation was discovered in the summer of 2025 after a local resident contacted Rospotrebnadzor with a request to check a store on Partizana Zheleznyaka Street, where clothes were being sold at an arbitrary price.
“According to the description, the picture was typical of touring sellers: the entrance was decorated with balloons; there was no sign or information about the seller; Passing pensioners were lured from the street under fictitious pretexts and persuaded to buy goods of dubious quality, without price tags or markings; Payment was made only in cash, without issuing a cash receipt confirming the fact of purchase. As practice shows, such sellers rent premises for literally a few days, arrange a sale and disappear without a trace, effectively depriving consumers of the opportunity to return the goods if necessary,” the Department said.
Specialists went to the specified address on an inspection visit and found out that the seller of light industrial goods was not registered in the GIS MT “Honest Sign” system. Jackets, raincoats, fur coats and sheepskin coats were found on sale. Some of the goods were unmarked, others had fake codes, and some products had double markings.
As a result of the inspection, about 60 units of light industry goods were confiscated for a total amount of more than 4 million rubles, and for the identified violations, an administrative case was opened against Digital LLC. Having considered the materials, the court held the LLC liable in the form of a fine in the amount of 50,000 rubles, and also decided to destroy all seized goods in the manner prescribed by law.
