Specialists of the branch of Rosseti Siberia – Krasnoyarskenergo took part in the interregional festival “Profession: Guidelines for Young People”, which was held at the national center “Russia” in Krasnoyarsk.
The city's largest companies, representatives of the employment center and educational institutions of the Krasnoyarsk Territory gathered at one site.
The interactive platform of the Krasnoyarskenergo branch has become a place of attraction for young people. Schoolchildren got acquainted with the world of energy, tested their knowledge with the help of an energy crossword puzzle and tried on the workwear worn by high-voltage line service crews.
Of particular interest was the virtual holographic stand of the Siberian Corporate Energy Training Center (SibKEUTs). The children were able to clearly see how an electrician works at height: checking the condition of power lines and changing equipment. The 3D stand visualized these work processes in detail.
“We told the guys about the variety of professions in the company. Electricians are the main link, but we also cannot do without economists, lawyers and other specialists. There are many interesting and in-demand specialties in the energy sector. We help young people in professional self-determination and will be glad if our energy company becomes their first step in the profession,” explained Tatyana Biryulya, leading personnel management specialist at the Rosseti Sibir branch – Krasnoyarskenergo.
The Rosseti Sibir company actively works with young people: it organizes energy circles in schools, annually forms student energy teams for summer practice, conducts excursions to energy facilities and practical classes on electrical safety. This allows the younger generation not only to get acquainted with energy in theory, but also to immerse themselves in work processes in order to make an informed choice of profession during their studies.
