Why are the negotiations for Nikita Stoinov's new contract at Dinamo delayed: “A more difficult situation”

Nikita Stoinov (20 years old), the central defender of Dinamo, has another 4 years of contract with the Bucharest team. However, during this period the situation regarding its termination clause should be finalized. Andrei Nicolescu, the president of the “dogs”, said that there have been discussions with his agents, but because of the war in Israel, the parties have not yet met to physically discuss the final aspects and sign.

Stoinov has become one of the main players of the “dogs” this season. Transferred from Netanya for €450,000, the Israeli has fitted in perfectly and his solid performances could spark interest in an eventual transfer.

When he agreed to come to Romania, the player's manager insisted that Stoinov have a clause of 1.5 million euros. In this context, any club that agrees with the player and pays this amount, no longer needs the agreement of the Superliga formation. His contract expires in the summer of 2029.

Andrei Nicolescu, the latest news about the situation of Stoinov's clause

“It's not about an extension, he has 4 years left on his contract. It's just about changing the termination clause. We're in discussions, it's more difficult for his agents to travel to Israel. It's a more difficult situation, it's understandable that we can't see each other during this period. In principle we understood, but we didn't sign, there's no point in discussing”said Andrei Nicolescu, on the show “Fotbal Show”, from Prima Sport.

He also spoke about the situation of Boateng and Gnahore, footballers who could leave Dinamo in the summer.

“Now it's easier to sign for a longer period with anyone. Boateng signed for two years then, the discussions are the same as in the winter, there's no point in discussing now. We'll see, let the season end. I don't think he's signed anywhere so far, it's a character, we'll see what will happen at the end of the season.

It's the same with Eddy Gnahore, we'll see. He is the metronome of the team, we see what he wants going forward, it is not about problems, but only about the dynamics of the team”, said Nicolescu.

Andrei Nicolescu, at the end of the season: “The cup is much more important, we will not rev the engines”

I did not have a positive result with CFR. If we scored on those occasions… we lost points, we didn't gain a point The evolution was positive, my opinion remains the same. After the match against CFR at the end of the regular season, in the other matches we deserved six points.

We have to get our heads out of there. It's good that we are 4 points away from 3rd place, it is recoverable with 6 stages left. The cup is much more important. The priority will be the training of the players, we will not rev the engines, we have a good physical level.

We have a long bench, the road is shorter in the Cup, the semi-final is very important, then the final one after another. However, as the ranking shows now, we must not leave this possibility out of hand

After the weekend result, it also depends on what I do this weekend, but the tension is high in Craiova, they want a lot. Neither team took Dinamo lightly, but they took advantage of our decisions in front of goal. I, as a game, did not feel inferior to any team in the playoffs.

U Cluj is a very organized team, it has stabilized its attacking area, and the transfer of Mendy was a successful one. He created the same pressure, they have a great tone and mentality. I don't see any team above Dinamo, I've said it before, I'm subjective.

For us we have to win, every point is very important. If the others were 8-9 points ahead, maybe we would think about making a plan for the Cup, although I am not a fan of such a plan.

Kopic relied on the most fit players. Only when he was forced to make changes did players from the bench arrive, and they showed they were capable. Hence the impression that we don't have a bank.
