Meteorologists announce that, until Monday, precipitation will be recorded in most of the country, and in the mountains it will be in the form of sleet and snow. It will still snow in Moldova, Transylvania, Maramureş and the Western Hills. According to ANM, until Monday morning, there will be precipitation in general quantitatively moderate and will accumulate 10…15 l/m2 and isolated 20…30 l/m2.

Precipitation will be mainly in the form of rain, and snow will gradually prevail in the mountains and a new layer of snow will be deposited (especially at altitudes above 1500 m), of 10…15 cm and isolated around 20 cm.

The meteorologists also show that, throughout the day of Sunday (February 15) and the night of Sunday to Monday (February 15/16), there will be snow and sleet in Moldova, locally in Transylvania, Maramureş and the Western Hills, where a layer of snow of 5…8 cm will be deposited in general.

Temporarily, the wind will increase in most of the country, with speeds generally of 40…60 km/h. The weather will get colder on Sunday (February 15) in the northern half of the country, and then in the rest of the country, meteorologists also announce.

Meteorologists have issued a code yellow warning for Sunday, between 08:00 and 14:00, when in Dobrogea and in the east of Muntenia the wind will intensify with gust speeds generally of 50…60 km/h.

From Sunday afternoon until Monday morning, in the counties of Vaslui, Galati, Vrancea, Tulcea, Constanța, Brăila, Ialomiţa, Călăraşi, Giurgiu, Teleorman, Olt, Dolj and Mehedinţi, the wind will temporarily intensify, with gust speeds of 50…60 km/h and isolated 65…70 km/h.

Also, in the same interval, a yellow code warning of blizzards and snow cover was issued.

In the counties of Botoşani, Iași, in the low area of ​​the counties of Suceava, Neamţ, Bacău, as well as in the mountain area of ​​the counties of Caraș Severin, Hunedoara, Gorj, Buzău, Vrancea and Covasna, it will temporarily snow blizzard, an average of 5…15 cm of snow will be deposited and visibility will be reduced.

The wind will have gust speeds of 50…60 km/h and isolated 70…80 km/h, meteorologists warn.
