Morocco coach Mohamed Ouahbi has announced his 26-man squad for the World Cup.

This is Morocco's seventh qualification to the final tournament, according to One Football. The “Lions” made history in the previous edition, becoming the first African team to reach the semi-finals. This historic performance, achieved four years ago in Qatar, remains the best ever at a World Championship.

The coach Mohamed Ouahbi announced the full squad today. The captain of the team is Achraf Hakimi, who is also the most experienced player with 95 caps. The right back from Paris Saint-Germain is one of the most important footballers of the national team.

Other key players in the squad are Brahim Diaz (Real Madrid), Bilal El Khannouss (VfB Stuttgart), Ayoub El Kaabi (Olympiacos) and goalkeeper Yassine Bounou (Al-Hilal).
