The administration of Divnogorsk published archival photographs of the city rose garden, which opened 55 years ago.
The rosary was created by Georgy Kirpatovsky. Among the rocks and greenery, he planted a flower garden with electrically heated soil. The townspeople received roses using coupons, and the nursery itself was considered the pride of Divnogorsk.
Kirpatovsky I experimented for years, searched for varieties and figured out how to grow capricious roses in the Siberian climate.
Today the rosary is no longer there. In the arboretum of Divnogorsk, only a sign in the form of a rose reminds of him. Residents and guests of the city still come to this place just for a walk.
