On the night of April 16 to 17, magnetic activity reached the G4 level, which corresponds to a very strong storm. As reported in the laboratory of solar astronomy of Iki and OZF, the reason was the change in the magnetic field.
For this reason, over Russia (mainly over its northern part) and Europe in the evening formed a zone of polar radiance.
In the group of communities, Krasastrasta are divided by pictures taken by lovers of astronomy of their Krasnoyarsk and the region. It was reported that observing the radiance within the city was difficult due to light, but it is distinguishable in the photo. Outside the city, it was possible to see it with the naked eye.
