In the near future, a special company, Chrobry, will be launched at BGK, whose task will be to service the Security and Defense Fund, X Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego announced on the platform.

“In the near future, a special company, Chrobry, will be launched at BGK, whose task will be to service the Security and Defense Fund,” the bank wrote, quoting president Mirosław Czekaj from the Banking & Insurance Forum conference.
“In addition to loans, capital investment options will be available to FBiO users,” Czekaj added.
FBiO is provided with KPO funds, which are to be allocated to support Poland's defense potential and population protection. Financial support will cover four priorities. Approximately PLN 9.65 billion is to be allocated for the construction of shelters, places of refuge, wells, water intakes and local wells, and telecommunications infrastructure related to crisis management; approx. PLN 6.26 billion for the construction and modernization of roads, bridges and tunnels belonging to local governments and railway infrastructure; approx. PLN 2.46 billion to increase the level of security and reliability of digital infrastructure collecting data and supporting environmental management (water intakes, sewage systems, public transport, energy networks).
The Ministry of FiPR announced the first calls for preferential loans for local governments from the Security and Defense Fund (FBiO) at the beginning of the second half of this year.
