US nuclear negotiations with Iran. Soon another round

The second round of conversations between the United States and Iran will take place again in the capital of Oman, mask – Iranian Irna State Information Agency said on Monday, quoting the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Esmaeila Baghaei. Washington and Tehran agreed to continue on April 19 conversations on the Iranian nuclear program.
On April 12, the first round of Iranian-American indirect negotiations on the resolution of the situation around the Iranian nuclear program took place in Oman. Iran was represented by the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Abbas Araggchi, USA – a special envoy of President Steven Witkoff.
“Constructive character” of conversations
The meeting lasting over 2.5 hours took place in the intermediate formula-each delegation was in a separate room, and the news between them was transmitted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oman Badr Al-Busaidi. He assured that the negotiations went in a “good, friendly atmosphere” and had a “constructive” character.
Israel, as well as some Western countries, accuse Iran of continuing to work on creating their own nuclear weapons. The authorities in Tehran ensure that their atomic program serves only civil purposes, and the possession of nuclear weapons is contrary to the principles of Islam.
The United States has repeatedly threatened to bomb Iran if the country's authorities did not stop working on enriching uranium. At the same time, the White House declared his readiness to increase economic pressure at Tehran, including by introducing further restrictions on the export of Iranian oil.
