New fuel prices on Wednesday, April 15. The ministry announced the rates

In accordance with applicable regulations, the Ministry of Energy publishes an announcement regarding maximum fuel prices every working day.

This rate becomes effective from the day following its announcement in Monitor Polski. If published just before holidays or holidays, it remains in force until and including the next business day.
Selling fuel above the established limit may result in a fine of up to PLN 1 million, and compliance with the regulations is supervised by the National Tax Administration.
The maximum price is determined according to a specific formula, which takes into account the average wholesale fuel price on the domestic market, to which are added: excise duty, fuel surcharge, trade margin of PLN 30 per liter and VAT.

These will be the maximum fuel prices on Wednesday, April 15
According to the latest announcement by the Minister of Energy, Miłosz Motyka, on Wednesday, April 15:
- A liter of 95 petrol will cost no more than PLN 6.16
- A liter of 98 petrol will cost no more than PLN 6.70
- a liter of diesel fuel will cost no more than PLN 7.41
According to the announcement of the Minister of Energy on Tuesday, April 14, a liter of 95 gasoline costs no more than PLN 6.12, of 98 gasoline – PLN 6.70, and diesel oil – PLN 7.58.
This means that On Wednesday, we will pay 4 cents more for a liter of 95 petrol, exactly the same price for a liter of 98 petrol, and as much as 17 cents less for a liter of diesel oil.
Minister of Energy: possible change in the provisions of the CPN package
The Ministry of Energy does not rule out clarifying regulations as part of the “Lower Fuel Prices” package after consultations with the fuel industry. According to Minister Miłosz Motyka, the government remains open to the sector's demands and announces further dialogue.
— In terms of intervention activities on the fuel market, we know your demands and we do not turn our backs on them. We will be in dialogue with you, he said during the 2026 Fuel Congress.
The head of the ministry noted that Possible changes may be introduced after discussions with industry representatives, including: with the participation of the Polish Organization of Petroleum Industry and Trade.
Motyka pointed out that the “Fuel Prices Lower” program will remain in force as long as the difficult situation on the fuel markets persistsrelated to, among others, with tensions in the Middle East.
He added that there is currently no pressure in the government to withdraw these solutions despite their costs for the budget. — Minister Domański himself said that the package will be maintained as long as needed – he pointed.
