Bidding has started in Krasnoyarsk today to find a contractor to continue the improvement of Enthusiasts Square, which is located in the Kirovsky district on the banks of the Yenisei River. The initial price of the contract is almost 6 million rubles.
As the administration said, the public space modernization project will affect two key areas: on the playground They will completely replace outdated play equipment and, for the first time, equip a specialized dog walking area, which residents have long requested.
“The old children’s play complex will be dismantled and a modern playground will be installed in its place. For the youngest children, there will be a double swing, a sandbox with a canopy from the sun and rain, and a low play complex. For active recreation of older children, there are high towers (more than 3 meters) connected by bridges and rope nets, as well as high-speed slides made of stainless steel. There will also be special training stands for the development of logic. An injury-proof rubber coating will be laid around all slides and swings – it will spring back when falling, which will help avoid serious bruises, the mayor’s office explained. — Five equipment will be installed on the dog area: a slide with an anti-slip coating, a boom (bridge), a tunnel, a barrier and a slalom. Benches will be placed nearby for pet owners to rest, as well as a special dog box. The area will be surrounded by a strong metal fence 2 meters high to prevent dogs from running out onto the road or children’s area.”
The square will be renovated on the eve of the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk – the work should be completed this summer.
Let us remind you that Enthusiasts Square behind the Krasnoyarye shopping center was landscaped in 2021 under the federal program “Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment.” Then recreation areas were created, the paths were laid out with small-format paving stones, and a gazebo was installed on the upper tier of the embankment.
