
The media did not specify what exactly Lukashenko meant by the word “mobilization,” but he called the current time “complicated” and “moreover, incomprehensible.”
He also stated that he does not know what to prepare the people for, the future remains uncertain and it is impossible to predict the development of global processes.
“We work to live. One slogan: “We work to live.” Not just to survive, but to live. What next? And then no one knows what will happen, what the powers that be will throw out there,” Lukashenko said.
Context
On April 1, Lukashenko, following a large-scale inspection of the combat readiness of the armed forces of Belarus, said that the country was preparing for war and “there can be no time of peace.” According to him, Minsk supposedly does not seek war, but must be ready to respond to any threats.
