“Today in Minusinsk we are opening the second stream of the OWN business project. It is aimed at SVO participants and members of their families,” the parliamentarian noted. “These are courageous people, true patriots who have initiative and take responsibility. This means they have a great future in entrepreneurship. Today, the team of the small and medium-sized enterprise corporation, a team of colleagues from “Opora Rossii” and the “United Russia” party are opening such an intensive course. Each will have their own supervisor, future businessmen will travel to successful operating enterprises, where they will be introduced to all the possibilities of government support, will be led through the first phase of entrepreneurship training, so that they can succeed in big business. The results of the program are good. Almost all participants implement their plans and make a profit, organize new jobs for their comrades. Families of SVO participants get their own business and develop it. We put a lot of effort into making everything work. I am sure that this project in the south of the region has a great future.”

Chairman of the Regional Branch of the All-Russian Public Organization of Small and Medium Enterprises “OPORA RUSSIA” in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Chairman of the Public Council of the United Russia Party Project “Entrepreneurship” in the Krasnoyarsk Territory Sergei Petrov:

“Nowadays there is a big demand from the guys who are returning from the front for them to socialize. We are opening the second stream of the “OWN Business” project to satisfy these requests. On Thursday, for example, we will go and see with the guys how business is conducted, how goods are created in Minusinsk. They will gain experience to start their own business.”

SVO participant Sergei Gulenkov explained why he decided to take part in the program: “I was at the SVO from 2022 to 2023. Now I run a business, I am an entrepreneur. I think this is a great event for our guys. Many come back from injuries, and so that they do not withdraw into themselves, they need to immerse themselves in work. This is good support from United Russia. The guys will go through this program with me, they will be helped by people who know a lot about this.”

SVO member Anatoly Piganov served in the navy, was discharged due to injury: “Signed a contract in 2024, served for two years in the Black Sea Fleet, in Sevastopol, in the Marine Corps. I’ve never been involved in business, but now I want to gain experience in this area, so I came here. I want to get down to business and help our guys, my comrades who are on the front line.”

As part of the five-day program, training participants will listen to lectures on the basics of entrepreneurship, build individual business plans, visit several companies of existing entrepreneurs, and project participants will also be told about legal aspects and the taxation system. At the end of the training, participants will present a business plan and will receive certificates for participating in the “Own Business” program.

It should be noted that support for SVO participants and their family members is an important area of the People’s Program.
