The 20th bronze gopher appeared in Krasnoyarsk. It was installed by the notorious Sibiryak construction company owned by businessman Vladimir Egorov, the company reported on social networks.
A construction gopher named Sibiryachok was placed near the office at 107 Bograda Street. The animal is dressed in a helmet, boots and gloves. The official opening of the art object is scheduled for April 23, the author of the sculpture writes on his website Andrey Koshelev.
Let us recall that the Sibiryak company has repeatedly found itself at the center of litigation and scandals, such as a dispute over the land of a former combine plant, termination of a contract for construction of a children's multidisciplinary hospital.

According to investigators, the businessman could have deliberately inflated the price of the beams of the spans and stolen about 71 million rubles. Criminal cases are also being investigated against him. Due to health reasons, Egorov was released from the pre-trial detention center in November 2025.
