The fifth batch of parrots since the beginning of the year was imported into Krasnoyarsk (video)

At Krasnoyarsk airport Rosselkhoznadzor specialists carried out veterinary control of 730 budgerigars, lovebirds, cockatiels and necklaces.

They were imported on April 9 from the Kyrgyz village of Kashkar-Kyshtak by air for an individual entrepreneur breeding and keeping ornamental birds in Krasnoyarsk.

“The parrots were transported in compliance with the veterinary and sanitary requirements of the Russian Federation and the Customs Union. Now they are placed in a specially prepared room for quarantine. During the period of its validity, all necessary diagnostic studies and preventive measures will be carried out under the supervision of specialists,” said Rosselkhoznadzor.

It is noted that since the beginning of 2026, a total of 5 consignments (3898 heads) of ornamental poultry from Republic of Kyrgyzstan.
