He published a screenshot of the case materials. The court decision states that the defendant placed an emoji “in the form of feces” in the general chat of the apartment building under the posted video, which depicted a military vehicle firing a volley of ammunition.

Thus, according to the Russian court, he “carried out public actions aimed at discrediting the use of the armed forces of the Russian Federation outside the territory of the Russian Federation.” The court found the man guilty and imposed a fine of 30 thousand rubles. (almost 17 thousand UAH).

In this regard, the blogger notes that in the Max messenger users are “visible through”, so it is better not to write potentially dangerous comments there.

Another Russian blogger, Alexey Zhivov, drew attention to this message. He wrote that at first he took the news about this as a publication from Panorama (a comic resource that publishes fake news), but it turned out that this was a real court case.

“Keep in mind that using reactions in this messenger is life-threatening, even if you are conducting closed or private correspondence,” he noted and advised users to disable some reactions “like poop or clown, so that subscribers do not get transferred.”
