Farmers of the Krasnoyarsk Territory will be reimbursed for part of the costs of milk production

The Ministry of Agriculture of the Krasnoyarsk Territory summed up the results of the selection among recipients of subsidies to support milk production.
33 farms belonging to small and medium-sized businesses will receive assistance. For these purposes, 43.8 million rubles were allocated from the federal and regional budgets.
Farms that have increased their gross milk yield in 2025, have milk productivity of over 5 thousand kg per cow, and have insured their livestock can count on an additional coefficient to the subsidy rate.
“In addition to this federal direction, there are other government assistance measures in place in the region that contribute to the development of livestock farming. Enterprises are offered support for breeding livestock – 11 farms will receive subsidies in this area totaling 85 million rubles this year. Farmers can also count on subsidies for the maintenance of farm animals and milk processing. We plan to hold selections in these areas in April,” said Dmitry Voropaev, Minister of Agriculture of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

Every year, farms in the region produce more than 600 thousand tons of milk. In terms of gross milk production, the region is one of the three leaders in the Siberian Federal District. According to Rosstat, according to this indicator, the region is in second place after the Novosibirsk region and Altai Territory. Second place among Siberian regions in terms of cow productivity in agricultural organizations. The average milk yield in 2025 in agricultural organizations was 7,882 kg – plus 358 kg to the 2024 level.
