The bones of the corpses were sold for the production of dental grafts – the bill was tens of millions of dollars.
Crematoria staff dismembered the bodies and then transported them for further processing. During the investigation, police seized more than 18 tons of bones and more than 34 thousand semi-finished and finished products.
