Andrei Nicolescu, Dinamo's president, went live on TV and explained the change that took place in the club's structure. He handed over the position of president of the Board of Directors to Dan Gătăianțu, the financial director of the club.
The information published by prosport.ro generated discussions in the public space, and Andrei Nicolescu wanted to specify that the change is not a last-minute one, but a strategy implemented to make the flow of decisions at the club level more efficient.
The main reason behind this decision seems to be to avoid the accumulation of functions, Nicolescu being involved on several levels in the life of the team.

“I don't know what to say. It's not news, it's a three-month-old matter. We delegated the responsibilities from the Board of Directors to the president of the club, it was a change that we thought would make the executive part much more flexible. That's it, otherwise there's nothing to comment on.
The Board of Directors is represented in the executive area by a president of the club, I took over the position of president upon this change in the statute and at the same time the Board of Directors remains with a supervisory role and that's about it. I don't know what to explain more, it's quite simple.
It's a question of the number of functions and compatibility. I couldn't be the Board of Directors, and the lawyer and the president of the club, I found a solution that was affordable for everyone.
The real discussion is that there is an interest from the Dinamo club to co-opt CS Dinamo into the football club's shareholding. That's the news, it's not new, it's a year and a half old.
