What will the weather be like on the night of Resurrection and Easter. Meteorologists updated the forecast: “We have a good part”
The weather remains cold today, on Good Friday, but from tomorrow, April 11, it will warm up slightly throughout the country, and temperatures will exceed 15 degrees in some areas, meteorologist Alina Șerban announced. This also specified what Romanians who go to the Resurrection service should expect.
Today, the maximum temperatures will be 13-14 degrees, the lowest in the northern half of Moldova, in the east of Transylvania and higher in the western regions, ANM meteorologist Alina Șerban announced on Antena3 on Friday.
“At night, as in the previous night, we will have negative temperatures in the north and center of the territory, so that there will be more fog. Slightly positive temperatures in the southern part, but from tomorrow the temperatures will rise slightly and gradually, so that the maximums will be from 10-12 degrees, to 14-15 degrees, the highest in the western, southwestern part of the territory”, announced Alina Șerban.
Also, from Sunday, the temperatures will continue to rise slightly, when “we will have maximums from 10-12 degrees, up to 15-16 degrees. Moreover, it is expected that on Sunday the temperatures will rise, rather in the western, southwestern part of the territory”, she stated.
Where rain is forecast
Rain is expected on Friday in the south and east of the country, on Saturday, rather in the afternoon and evening, also in the south and east of the country, and on Sunday in the eastern half. In the hilly and mountainous areas, there will be precipitation in the form of sleet and snow, added Alina Șerban.
“The good part would be that the wind will not be a problem anymore. It will show only slight intensification and quite isolated, especially in the extreme south-west of the territory and in the high mountain areas.
In the Capital, the weather is changeable: “we have sunny periods, but also cloudy periods, especially in the afternoon and evening, when it will very likely rain in quantity. The maximum temperatures will be 12 to 14 degrees, both today and the following days. The wind will not intensify, and the minimums will be between 1 and at most 4 degrees”, said Alina Șerban.
“On Friday night, the temperatures will rise slightly, they won't be as low as the following night, there will still be negative temperatures in the north and center of the territory. But if at night we expect it to drop to -7…-8 degrees, Saturday to Sunday will be -2…-3 degrees and completely isolated,” said Alina Șerban.
