“On Saturday, during the evening, the patient had repeated major cardiac arrhythmias, promptly treated by the on-call team in the cardiology department.
During the night on Sunday, the arrhythmias became severe and no longer responded to treatment. The patient's condition worsened, necessitating transfer to the Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care.
Currently, there are no new evolution items. We will return publicly if the situation requires this.
We appeal to everyone's respect for the privacy and dignity of any patient admitted to the SUUB”, the University Hospital said in a press release on Saturday morning.
