Zelensky publicly confirmed such actions by the Ukrainian military for the first time, Reuters emphasized.
“We sent our military experts to the Middle East, in particular interceptor drone specialists and electronic warfare experts. We showed some countries how to use these interception devices. Did we destroy them (Iranian drones – PAP)? Yes, we did. Did we destroy them in one country? No, in several. And that, in my opinion, is a success,” Zelensky said during a meeting with journalists, quoted by the Interfax-Ukraine agency.

“We also shot down drones with jet engines. I think this is a very good signal. We have shown that it works. Now it is only a matter of time before we start mass producing intercepting drones that will destroy drones with such engines,” he added.
The Ukrainian president's conversation with the press took place on Wednesday, but its publication was suspended until Friday, Reuters reported.
