Two airlines have announced that they will resume flights to Israel in April

International airlines Bluebird Airways and Wizz Air announced on Friday, April 10, that they will resume flights to Israel this month, after suspending flights amid the war with Iran, which began on February 28.

Greece-based Bluebird Airways will operate flights between Tel Aviv and Athens starting April 12, initially one flight per day, with the frequency increasing to two daily flights later that week, as well as to other destinations, writes Haaretz.
Hungarian airline Wizz Air has announced that it will resume flights to and from Tel Aviv on April 25.
Wizz Air had suspended flights for over a month, citing international safety recommendations, in the context of the conflict that began on February 28.
Czech airline Smartwings also announced that it will resume daily flights to Tel Aviv from April 15.

On February 28, when the war in the Middle East broke out, several international airlines announced the cancellation of scheduled flights to and from Israel. Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates have closed their airspace.
