Societatea de Transport Bucharest (STB) and Metrorex have announced the schedule according to which the means of transport will circulate in the municipalities during the Easter holidays.
According to a press release from STB, on Friday and Monday, the day after Easter, buses, trams and trolleybuses will run according to the schedule specific to a Sunday, the number of vehicles being less than on weekdays.
On Saturday and Sunday, traffic will follow the schedule specific to these days of the week.
“On the night of Easter (11/12/04/2026), STB SA will keep tram line 41 in circulation, until around 03:00, at intervals of 20 minutes. At the same time, travelers will also have access to the 25 night lines”, stated STB.
The operating schedule of the subway
Metrorex sent the schedule for the Easter days since Wednesday. Between April 10 and 13, 2026, metro trains will run on all highways, according to the schedules for weekends and public holidays.
“On Easter night, metro trains will run between 11:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m. at approximately 10-minute intervals, and from 1:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. at approximately 20-minute intervals,” Metrorex states.
Access to the subway with open flames (lighted candles, lighted candles, etc.) is strictly prohibited to avoid any unwanted events, company representatives also said.
