The Kremlin posted on Telegram on Saturday a short video showing how American fighter jets escorted Vladimir Putin's presidential plane at his departure from Alaska, after the meeting with Donald Trump on Friday.

“American fighter jets have escorted the aircraft of Russian president on his way to Alaska to Russia,” Kremlin wrote on Telegram, distributing a video from the plane, reports the Ukrainian the Kyiv Independent.

American hunting planes that appear in the clip posted by the Kremlin are F-35 stealth supersonic devices-the most advanced US Multirol Fighting aircraft-produced by the defense giant and the Aerospace Lockheed Martin.

And the “AK” code on the tail of the aircraft indicates that they belong to Alaska US Air Force bases.

Removed from international isolation

The summit of August 15 marked Vladimir Putin's first visit to the United States of 2015 and put an end to his international isolation imposed after Russia's large -scale invasion in Ukraine in 2022. During the visit, Putin was greeted with the red carpet, a reception later celebrated by the Russian officials on social networks. Besides, Putin seemed visibly blessed during this trips to the US, The Kyiv Independent notes.

But the meeting between Trump and Putin has not led to any agreement to end the Russia's war in Ukraine. In contrast, the main result was largely considered to be the exit of Moscow from international isolation – a significant victory for Putin both internally and externally.
