“What we witnessed yesterday evening is the most serious attack on Danish critical infrastructure so far,” said Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederixen in a written answer given, among others TV2 station. She also added that it is still not clear who was behind this organized action. In turn, the Danish intelligence service perceives the incident as a “hybrid event”.
The case is of course widely commented on in the local media. “Given the available information, the Denmark's government is not able to accuse Russia,” we read in the newspaper “Berlingke”. “The police announced at a press conference that a competent perpetrator stood behind the drones. Russia speaks about drones in Copenhagen. “Unfounded accusations”
Dmitry Pieskov took the floor on the events that took place in Copenhagen. The Kremlin spokesman emphasized the dissatisfaction with the fact that the Denmark Government did not clearly rule out the possibility of Russia's participation in violating the airspace of this country.
“To be honest, constantly making unfounded accusations means that subsequent such statements are no longer taken seriously, because each time we hear unfounded accusations from there,” said Pieskov quoted by the Russian interfax agency.
“It seems to me that a country that holds a serious position should not constantly make such unfounded accusations,” he concluded.
