
An inadequate St. Petersburg resident stabbed a passerby because voices in his head advised him to “play the hunger games” — Media
35-year-old Sergei Babushkin left the house on Lenin Avenue with a knife. And a few minutes later he attacked 40-year-old Victor, who inflicted multiple stab wounds on his neck and arms, and a little later on 42-year-old Tatyana. The man died, the woman was hospitalized.
The attacker was later detained. He stated that he felt like he was in The Hunger Games and was sure that he had to kill people. A case was opened under articles “Murder” and “Attempted Murder of two persons.”
