Russian woman got a hole in her leg after a massage
A resident of Mineralnye Vody had her thigh burned during a massage – she wanted to increase muscle tone thanks to myostimulation with infrared heating.
During the procedure, the girl felt discomfort, but the masseuse convinced her that everything was fine. Soon swelling, redness and a slight indentation appeared on the thigh. At the salon she was given antihistamines and treated with ointment, after which blisters appeared on her leg.
In purulent surgery, she was diagnosed with a third-degree thermal burn from hot metal. Skin grafts may be needed.
