The preliminary cause of the Tu-22M3 crash in the Irkutsk region is the failure of the left engine.
According to Mash, the bomber with four crew members on board took off from the Belaya airbase. A few minutes later the system showed a failure of the left engine and it caught fire. The crew took the car to the area of the village of Mikhailovka, now there is a fire there.
The crew managed to eject, three were already found.
