French giants Olympique Marseille have officially unveiled their new logo, which will be used from the 2026 2027 season. The club announced that the visual identity was developed entirely in-house following a complex creative process.
The objective of the project was clear. The management wanted to combine the strong tradition of the Marseille club with a modern direction adapted to today's football. The new emblem starts from symbols that define the historical identity of the team and brings them in an updated form.

The graphic design brings together elements from several important periods of the club. Every detail has a direct connection to the past. The white ring comes from the emblem used in 1973.
The structure of the letter “M” refers to the first logo, from 1899. The dynamic curves are inspired by the version used in 1986. Also, the double ring, one of the most recognizable symbols of the club, is taken from the emblem of 1993.

“Through this evolution, Olympique de Marseille is laying the foundations of a strong identity, deeply rooted in its history, created to last over time and accompany the club's next stages of development,” the official statement said.
Along with the launch of the new logo, the club also announced the relaunch of the official platform. The site has been completely redone and now offers a clearer and faster experience for supporters. Officials say the new version is designed to facilitate access to information and strengthen the connection between the team and fans.
Marseille has changed its logo
This is the 12th logo in the club's history and will replace from next season the one OM has had since 2004.
Alban Juster, the interim president, assured that “this logo is the result of 2 years of work”.
“The club continues to evolve. We talked about the headquarters, the infrastructure, the stadium, the sports side…. This logo allows us to continue to evolve. Today, one of our most important assets is our brand“, he explained.
