With the score 1-0 in favor of the red-blues, Cluj University received another blow, Murgia being eliminated, after hitting Darius Olaru, the scorer of the goal in the 32nd minute, on the head.

Near the bench area, during a phase spent in the middle of the field, he elbowed the player from FCSB in the back of the head and, even if the blow was not intense, the referee Adrian Cojocaru did not stay for discussions and showed him the second “yellow”. The people of Cluj protested the decision in vain, as it was not returned from the VAR room, as such a phase could not be analyzed.

Cojocaru gave the first yellow card to Murgia in the 36th minute, due to an inappropriate gesture.

Immediately after seeing the second “yellow”, Murgia went to the reserve referee of the game to ask for clarification, but in vain, because he left the field before the break.

“Given lightly, but with regulation coverage. Goes straight with the elbow at the opponent, with the arm raised, which is not in a normal position,” said the arbitration specialist contacted by GSP.ro.

“For me it's yellow, it has intention”, said Ionel Danciulescu, at the break of the match, on the show “Fotbal Club”, from Digi Sport. And Ilie Dumitrescu, present on the set, was of the same opinion: “It's yellow”, he added.
