Due to a short circuit in the lamp, a fire occurred in the pharmaceutical college on Mira Avenue in Krasnoyarsk, reports the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
It all happened on April 8th. At 12:35, a signal was received about a fire on the first floor of the secondary specialized educational institution. Before the firefighters arrived, 47 people evacuated from the building on their own, four more were rescued by the gas and smoke protection service along the flights of stairs.
“At 14:10 the fire was extinguished in an area of 5 sq.m., there were no casualties. 13 units of equipment and 45 employees were involved in the fire extinguishing effort,” the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
