Investors from the Warsaw Stock Exchange have three more ETFs at their disposal. Beta ETF introduced two instruments based on the mWIG40 index – a leveraged one and one allowing to play on declines (short). In turn, Swedish Virtune offered the first index crypto ETP in Poland, giving access to a basket of the largest digital currencies.

On Wednesday, two new funds from Beta ETF debuted on the WSE. We are talking about a leveraged instrument (mWIG40TRlv) and one that allows you to bet on declines (mWIG40TRsh). They are of a typical trading nature and are aimed primarily at active investors.
Similar instruments for the index of the largest companies, i.e. WIG20, have been available on the WSE for a long time. Now investors have at their disposal ETFs that allow them to play with leverage and bet on the declines of medium-sized companies. This is an important novelty because, unlike WIG20, which is dominated by state giants, mWIG40 is considered a barometer that best reflects the condition of the Polish economy. This index is also characterized by higher volatility, which favors short-term strategies.

The cryptocurrency equivalent of the S&P 500
Also today, the Virtune Coinbase 50 Index ETP entered trading. This is the first product on the Polish market based on a cryptocurrency index.
We are talking about the Coinbase 50 index, which is intended to be the equivalent of indicators like the S&P 500 for the digital assets market. Instead of taking risks and choosing individual coins, following such an index, an investor can gain broad exposure to a basket of up to 50 largest and most liquid cryptocurrencies. It includes not only bitcoin, but also DeFi projects, payment solutions and smart contract platforms.
The composition of the wallet undergoes rigorous selection and excludes, for example, cryptocurrencies that guarantee full anonymity. To minimize the risk, the share of a single asset was limited to 50%. the value of the entire basket, and the fund itself is rebalanced quarterly.
More and more ETFs on offer
The instrument, like previous ETFs from Virtune, solves the basic problem of many investors – it bypasses the need to register on crypto exchanges and set up dedicated wallets, allowing you to gain exposure to cryptocurrencies from your brokerage account. The Swedish issuer treats Poland as a strategic market and is already announcing further news on the WSE in 2026.
As of today, 25 ETFs are listed on the WSE main market, including 15 from Beta ETF and five from Virtune. Six more ETFs can be found on the GlobalConnect marketplace.
