— If Russia is ready to stop attacking our energy sector, we will be ready to respond in the same way. And just such a proposal, transmitted through the Americans, reached the Russian side, Zelensky said during his evening speech.
The president also thanked Ukraine's partners who continue to put pressure on Russia using appropriate measures – sanctions, detention of tankers and restrictions on the supply of modern equipment to the Russian army.
Zelensky expressed his belief that everything Russians can currently earn from oil will be spent on the war. – Therefore, any of our restrictions on their ability to export oil are right – he emphasized.

According to the president, due to the war between the United States and Israel with Iran, Russia – as a country that profits from the export of raw materials – wants to earn more due to higher oil prices, but Ukrainian drones and missiles limit its possibilities in this respect.
The Ukrainian head of state announced on Friday, April 3, that Ukraine has submitted a request for an Easter ceasefire to the United States.
A week ago, on March 30, Zelensky stated that Ukraine supports all solutions to end the war that preserve the dignity and independence of the state, and is ready for any format of ceasefire, in particular during the Easter holidays.
