“The heating season has become a serious test for the entire energy system of the country. Thanks to the professionalism of power engineers, their quick response and ability to work in conditions of constant danger, it was possible to ensure the stable passage of this period. Their work is a contribution to the stability of the country and the basic living conditions of millions of people,” Shmygal noted.
The Minister of Energy thanked the energy workers for their work during the heating season, which was the most difficult in all the years of the full-scale war, and awarded 36 DTEK Energy employees.
“Energy workers demonstrated a high level of responsibility for the result. All enterprises worked as a single system – quickly, harmoniously and with an understanding of the criticality of their role. This work is systemic in nature: we are already preparing for the summer peaks and the next winter, strengthening the areas where it is necessary. It is important that such dedicated work is now being recognized by the relevant ministry – this is evidence of trust and understanding of its importance for the country,” emphasized Alexander Fomenko, General Director of DTEK Energy.
