In the early hours of Tuesday, April 7, the forces of the Russian Federation carried out a new series of drone attacks on civilian and infrastructure targets in Ukraine, near the border with Romania, in the northern area of ​​Tulcea county.

The National Military Command Center notified the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, so that the measures to alert the population in the north of the county are instituted. At 00:58 a RO-ALERT message was sent, warning citizens to remain cautious and follow the instructions of the authorities.

ISU Tulcea stated that the message was an “information and warning”. According to the institution, the population was asked “to follow the recommendations sent if the situation requires it and to call the single emergency number 112 if they observe objects falling from the sky and endangering material goods and personal integrity“.

“The air defense systems monitored two air targets that evolved in the border area, without entering the national airspace. The air alert ceased at 1:46 a.m.,” MApN sent.

The Ministry of National Defense said that its forces remain vigilant, maintaining the necessary surveillance and coordination measures to protect the population and the national territory.
