The Investigative Committee in the region confirmed that search engines will return to work after the snow melts. It is important to do this before the area becomes overgrown with grass.
Let us recall that at the end of September 2025, 48-year-old Irina, 64-year-old Sergei, their five-year-old daughter Arina and the dog went on a hike and stopped communicating. Large-scale searches began on October 1. A camp was set up in the village of Kuturchin, where specialists and volunteers worked.
According to the investigation, the family did not cross the border, and the criminal versions were not confirmed. The main hypothesis remains an accident. Earlier, traces of bears were seen in the footage from the search, but experts rule out the possibility of an animal attack.
