Employees of the traffic police regiment continue to check compliance with parking rules in the Central district of Krasnoyarsk.
Just the day before, traffic police stopped more than 40 violations. Cars whose drivers were not there were evacuated and placed in a specialized parking lot.
Those who leave vehicles in unauthorized places will be held accountable under Part 4 of Art. 12.16 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Failure to comply with the requirements prescribed by road signs or road markings prohibiting stopping or parking of vehicles” and Part 3 of Art. 12.19 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Stopping or parking vehicles at a pedestrian crossing and closer than 5 meters in front of it.” The sanctions of these articles provide for punishment in the form of fines in the amount of 2250 and 1000 rubles, respectively. In addition, violators will have to pay for tow truck services and storage of their car in a special parking lot.
