Actor Vladimir Steklov had a malignant tumor removed from his scalp. The star of “Kadetstvo” and “Patient Zero” has been battling melanoma for more than six months.
According to Mash, the first symptoms of the disease in the 76-year-old folk artist were noticed last year. Small neoplasms appeared gradually on the head, neck and back, but did not bother me physically.
One of the tumors has already been excised. The day before, the actor spent several days in the hospital of the oncology center. The affected area of his scalp was removed and the wound was closed with a transplanted skin flap. The operation was successful, Steklov was discharged under constant observation by an oncologist. He told us that he feels good, is as healthy as a bull, and can be seen on stage in September.
