“We declared our position: peace, peace and only peace. Ukraine must exist as a sovereign independent state. We are for the war to be stopped now,” Lukashenko said.
Otherwise, he believes, “this independent sovereign state will disappear.”
Lukashenko added that for Belarus “a sovereign independent Ukraine is a big main issue.”
“It must be peace-loving. It must not create any problems or threats for anyone,” the Belarusian politician noted.
