Trump fired his “faithful girlfriend” from the post of US Attorney General

He called her a “patriot and a loyal friend” who carried out her duties faithfully and allegedly brought the US murder rate to its lowest level since 1900. Bondi was appointed on February 5, 2025.

Before Trump returned to the White House, Bondi represented him as a lawyer. CNN's interlocutors say she was promised another position – two sources indicated that Trump considered the possibility of appointing her as a judge, but this did not happen. At the same time, one of the sources said that, despite the words about the private sector, Bondi does not yet have any specific work.
